Chanel established itself as the epitome of feminine chic with its little black dress and make owning one every woman’s dream. To me, a little red dress is as essential to female wardrobe as the Chanel little black dress.
I always believe the little red dress possess certain form of mysterious power. It’s almost like a kind of superpower that makes me feel I can bring out the other side of me (yes I’m a typical Gemini!)
It wasn’t until I came across a flamenco dancer at the first ever flamenco show I saw in Brisbane when I realized the power of the little red dress in full swing. The lady in red stepped up slowly, yet bursting with energy, to the centre of the stage in strong, rhythmic tunes from a flamenco guitar. She was bold, and her eyes were shimmering with an unstoppable flow of passion.
Apart from hunting for the fluffiest churros and the sweetest sangria, I sent myself to Spain on a mission – to see the deadliest little red dress and the finest Flamenco dance in action. A winter night spent at Tablao Cordobes at Las Ramblas Barcelona didn’t disappoint.
Sharing a few ‘pinspirations’ from flamenco style and my obsessions with the bold & beautiful red:

Now does everyone feel the fierceness of the little red dress?
